The selectee for this position serves as a Supervisory Program Analyst in the Platform Division, Engineering Department of the Surface Maintenance Engineering Planning Program (SURFMEPP). This position reports to the Platform Engineering Division Head and serves to evaluate, manage, and implement engineering programs for off-ship repair, maintenance and modernization impacting all classes of surface ships systems initiatives throughout the acquisition life cycle of US Navy surface ships.
As a Supervisory Program Analyst, your duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Providing guidance to internal and external stakeholders in conducting technical corrosion, system and equipment inspections.
- Providing technical guidance on surface ship maintenance and modernization program operations.
- Identifying ship life cycle critical maintenance and modernization requirements.
- Resolving administrative, technical or program problems.
- Occasional Travel
- Travel is dependent upon position description and availability of funding.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing and analyzing administrative or engineering programs for ship maintenance or modernization activities.
