Are you someone who likes to work a variety of shifts. Then this position could be you! In this position you might work mornings, evenings or “C” Shift. You will be assisting guests as they check in and out of the hotel, answer phones and make reservation as well as attending to the many requests from our guests in all areas of the hotel. On “C” shift, you will need to learn Night Audit to reconcile the guest accounts. (this is on an as needs basis) Strong Customer Service experience with a desire to make the guest happy is a must. Our strong candidate is someone who is energetic, likes the evening shifts and has an eye for detail. Previous hotel experience is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience of at least 6 months in a hotel or customer service setting -Cash handling experience with verifiable accuracy. -Successful completion of a background check.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: -Ability to resolve conflict and to address customer’s needs in a professional and timely manner in busy, sometimes stressful circumstances. -Must be confident in making direct eye contact, open and friendly so that the guest feels welcome.

COMMUNICATION: -Ability to clearly communicate effectively with a diverse customer base in person, in writing, by telephone or by email to include greeting customers, guests and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner, collecting payments, helping guests needing assistance, answering customer or public inquiries. -Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals and work instructions. -Ability to write clear, complete and accurate routine reports and correspondence to provide information to supervisors and co-workers.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Night Audit or accounting experience. -Hotel experience of at least 2 year in a front office position.
