Typical Hours Required: 20 hours per week

General Description of Work

This position is responsible for all aspects of vendor payments and vendor relationships including processing the monthly credit cards. Role also includes year-end processing of 1099’s and involvement with fixed asset accounting. Involvement in the monthly reconciliation and close process are additional opportunities for this position.

Essential Functions

Accounts Payable:

  • Process weekly check-run

Fixed Assets:

  • Maintain Fixed Assets in Financial Edge

  • Generate depreciation monthly

General Functions

  • Assist in preparation of financial statements

  • Record all account payable data

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • College degree in related field or experience equivalent

  • Experience in Microsoft Windows software

  • Prompt and thorough in job performance

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Self starter

  • Creative and logical problem solving

  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player

  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. unassisted
