Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility This position provides excellent experience and career path in Engineering Change Control and New Product, Part, Revision control Implementation at Repair Supplier. Also coordinate and maintain with SCAR Process (Supplier issue follow-up process). Provides key linkage to all global repair suppliers, Supplier Development Engineers, NCR Service Team, Service Design Consultant, NCR Manufacturing Team & NCR Top Management.
Responsible for reviewing the Engineering Development Releases (DR) to understand the impact of design changes on Services / Repair suppliers. Communicates the Engineering Changes to the Repair suppliers. Monitor and implement the Engineering design changes across all NCR Repair suppliers. Tracks, monitors and maintains data and information pertains to the break-in points of point of Engineering changes at various repair suppliers. Representing the Services / Repair Quality team in Engineering Stop Order meetings. Support special projects to implement critical to quality changes at repair suppliers on priority basis.Development and implementation of key processes to support change in repair manufacturing and testing processes due to Design changes. Coordinate with NCR manufacturing sites / SDE / Service Team/ Engineering Team to ensure the parts used at repair suppliers are to the latest Engineering released versions. Coordinate and Maintain the Repair Supplier SCAR to close at system level - Supplier related Issue through SCAR Process. Interacting SDOs for FRO related Matters and implementing the same at field or Repair Centre as well. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering , Quality or equivalent Minimum 5 Years of related experience in Quality analytical Job, Data Management, Report Generation. Familiar in Manufacturing Process, Engineering changes, NPI, Quality systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office products including MS Access & Visual Basic. Good command written and spoken English. Works well under pressure. Ability to travel.Preferred Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills and highly motivated. Highly organized and ability to follow processes and procedures. Effectively manage changes, stress, and ambiguity Excellent PC application Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP, SAP & Internet. Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
