Under the direction of the VP of Marketing, develop and implement marketing programs to support global sales of Medivators products and services. This position works to monitor/coordinate new product or service initiatives, develop and implement launch and support packages for the products or services, including, but not limited to, product literature, labeling, related training materials, pricing, profitability targets, launch tools, competitive claims, and product positioning. Partner with Marketing Communications to ensure that the “look” and message of all related materials are consistent and understandable, and is the primary resource to external customers for non-technical product inquiries. Support sales team through product positioning, customer segmentation strategy, report administration, sample/incentive program management, and pro-active communication.

Minimum of 2 - 3 years experience in medical device (or related products and services) industry.

History of quantifiable achievements in project management.

Must be very customer (internal and external) focused and results driven.

Extremely strong communication skills (oral, written, developing/giving presentations) are mandatory.

Must have demonstrable competence in office software applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and mainframe applications


BS degree in related field (life sciences, marketing).

MBA Preferred

  • Implement marketing tactics for assigned new and existing products and services to ensure achievement of fiscal objectives.

  • Develop and release product and service marketing materials, including sales brochures, catalogues, journal advertisements and product bulletins.

  • Assist in coordination of special marketing events including national convention exhibits, regional and customer seminars.

  • Coordinate cross-functional new product launch requirements and schedules.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with field personnel to ensure needs are being met.

  • Establish and maintain ongoing communication with field personnel (in-person, telephone, e-mail, etc.) to keep informed of current market needs, trends, issues, competitive activity, etc.

  • Plan, manage and document results of market research to identify customer product needs, including focus groups and surveys

  • Establish, maintain and analyze for opportunities/issues, a database of market statistics (size, shares, potential, growth, etc) and competitive activity.

  • Help to drive new products and revisions through the ECO process to ensure timely, accurate launch, relaunch, or availability.

  • Monitor new product development activity and timelines; provide marketing input to Phase review plans and documents.

  • Administer and maintain all Medivators price lists for accuracy and timeliness.

  • Manage customer incentive and sample programs.

In conjunction with finance, ensure all sales commission reports are timely and accurate.

  • Develop and run ad hoc reports as required, for analysis of customer and product sales trends
