Treasury Management Sales

Tenured, seasoned and proven treasury management consultant position responsible for the development and retention of a significant and complex Government customer base, geographic area(s), market segment(s) or series of product lines. Responsible for meeting annual sales goals and sales activity targets by developing and executing a strategy to retain and further penetrate existing relationships. Develops sales and retention plans for territory and key customer accounts and analyzes customer needs. Serves as the lead advocate for TM within the TM group as well as with assigned partners. Contributes to TM initiatives and the business line strategy. May be responsible for mentoring/training less experienced sales consultants.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following, and adhering to and if applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements./

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of business-to-business sales experience or treasury management experience

  • 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: sales, business development, or treasury management

Desired Qualifications:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher

  • An active Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation

  • Experience exceeding established sales and customer satisfaction goals

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong negotiation and influence skills

  • Strong presentation skills
