The Business Intelligence Manager is responsible for supporting Mobile Mini business operations via reporting and analytics. This position is responsible for managing the BI team and supporting resources, building and supporting a reporting and analytics platform, and working with IT and business teams to identify and build solutions.
Identify and prioritize analytical gaps between the current state and industry best practices; propose and implement quick wins to demonstrate competency and generate immediate business value
Lead methodology development and implementation of models employing novel tools & techniques leveraging recent advances and technology, and incorporating signals from broader customer activities including digital behavior
Leads the development of metrics, reports, dashboards, and self-service reporting tools
Actively engage with the business partners to fully understand the analytics requirements and feasibility, devise approaches and implement solutions via appropriate models and analyses
Understand the data architecture and strategy requirements and scale of the data that is required for the enterprise
Understand the complexities and intricacies of multiple departments & stakeholders and ensure that the proposed solutions would work satisfactorily across the entire portfolio
Effectively present recommendations to all levels of management using various modes of communication/presentation
Guide and direct the technical work in the enterprise data warehouse by acting as the product owner/manager and representing the analytical needs of the end users
Maintain steady communication with IT, analytical staff, business partners and leadership on all programs
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required; prefer degree is in Information Technology, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, or Industrial Engineering field of study
Minimum 7 years designing and developing data warehouses and/or in an analytical role with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
Experience with managing or executing business reporting functions, and with creating metrics and reports that demonstrably drove operational actions and highlighted wins / opportunities
Understanding of data warehousing, data modeling and ETL concepts required
Familiarity with Big Data and databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL preferred
Knowledge of various SAP BI tools, such as SAP BusinessObjects BI Solutions (Web Intelligence, Explorer, Xcelsius, Crystal Reports), and SAP BusinessObjects Information Management tools (EPM, Data Services, etc.) is strongly preferred but not required
Proven ability in applying theoretical knowledge to practical applications, data analysis, algorithmic prototyping, and data visualization
Strong quantitative modeling skills
Proven ability to execute with extreme speed and a high degree of accuracy in a proof of concept environment
Demonstrated problem solving, multi-tasking, troubleshooting skills with a high degree of flexibility
Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent listening, presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate ideas in both technical and plain language
