Biomarker Research Laboratory is a research unit which participates in national study on Alzheimer’s disease by testing and managing biofluids and focuses on analysis of biomarkers of neurodegenerative diseases. As a person on the Research Specialist B position you will be responsible for: developing all subprojects run on robotics EPMotion system, samples repository and you will assist in method development/modification using mass spectrometry and/or immunoassay technology.Position is contingent on continued funding.
B.S. degree in biomedical science or related area and 1-2 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, are required.* Some experience in laboratory work and operating of laboratory equipment * Computer skills * Extremely high skills in paying attention to details!! * Ability to work within a team* Must be able to learn new, high level technology like for example: automated pipetting robot, big databases, immunoassays and mass spectrometry* Must demonstrate high responsibility for his/her work and discipline at work
