A TMX family company is seeking sales-driven and customer-focused Store Managers to join its amazing team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Store Manager:

  • Ensure atmosphere of compliance by managing customer accounts, ensuring that payments are made in a timely manner, and collecting on past due accounts in accordance with Company policies and procedures and applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations

  • Effectively mentor and assist with employee management, training, and the development of Assistant Store Managers and Customer Service Representatives to maximize their potential

  • Increase store profitability through customer relationship development, community involvement, marketing and building new business sources

  • Assist the General Manager with the management of the store's operating expenses including rent, utilities, maintenance of premises, petty cash, payroll, and other related expenses

  • Assist the General Manager with preparing and analyzing company reports

  • Drive sales and customer retention by performing customer transactions with the highest level of integrity

  • Maintain customer files in accordance with company policies and procedures

  • Accurately determine loan values based off of a comprehensive vehicle appraisal

  • Make daily bank deposits, accept customer payments, process vehicle liens and comply with applicable consumer and privacy laws

  • Lead your assigned store location when the General Manager is not present or in position

  • Demonstrate knowledge of all relevant company policies and procedures and state and federal laws and requirements (Compliance, HR, Legal, and Operations)

  • Follows and enforces all operational policies and procedures as identified in the Operations Manual

  • Ensures employees understand and comply with all operational policies and procedures as identified in the Operations Manual

  • Creates an atmosphere of compliance with state and federal laws and operational requirements

  • Adhere to all HR policies and procedures as identified in the Employee Handbook

  • Sets expectations for high performance and holds team accountable for the results while still balancing compliance with required policies and procedures

Specific knowledge, skills and abilities

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree a plus

  • Leadership experience in a sales or customer service oriented position required; retail, sales, or financial industries preferred

  • Sales-oriented mentality and a passion for providing a superior customer experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • The desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, rewarding, and results-driven environment

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks with ease and enthusiasm

  • An outgoing and confident personality during interactions with customers, co-workers, and business partners

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and Outlook

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Credit and criminal background check required to include MVR (state exemptions may apply)

  • Valid driver's license and car insurance

  • Must be at least 19 years of age

  • Ability to work store hours of operation, including Saturdays

  • Use of personal vehicle required as well as the ability to drive on Company business throughout the workday

  • Standing, walking, sitting, repetitive movements and use of mechanical controls, such as keyboard, are frequently required
