Regional Sales Manager, Dietary Supplements (ASPAC) (Job Number: 011870W-01)
Reporting to the Global Sales Leader for Dietary Supplements (DS) and Pharma based in Europe, the Regional Sales Manager will hold a double role as direct sales manager for DS in ASEAN countries and Functional Guidance to the DS sales team in ASPAC. A brief description of accountabilities includes, but not limited to,
Identify and evaluate new market trends/opportunities and develop these opportunities in new business to grow the company’s market share in the Dietary Supplements and Pharma space.
Being First Choice- cultivate and develop senior relationships with targeted existing and potential customers to promote DuPont Nutrition & Health as the preferred supplier.
Manage directly the customer accounts for DS sales in ASEAN countries
Guide and support the DS sales team members in Australia/New Zealand, Japan and South Korea
Proactively support the key global and regional DuPont Nutrition & Health processes, to continually meet and exceed the KPI targets set for the Sales organization.
Work cooperatively with peers and management in a matrix organization to ensure company sales targets and performance measures are achieved and team based culture fostered.
Contribute to the DuPont Integrated Business Planning process to improve our forecast accuracy to meet company targets.
Actively promote the company profile at conferences, tradeshows and industry seminars to foster/maintain client relationships in order to ensure an increase in the awareness and corporate identity of the company as the leading supplier of Dietary Supplements
Provide timely and accurate Monthly Activity Report to Manager to effectively measure progress against agreed plans and to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Reports will be completed as per company standards
Communicate, promote and lead by example the DuPont company core values, policies and procedures throughout the organization.
Qualifications and Personal skills:
Masters/Bachelors in Food Science/Microbiology, Food and Nutrition, Biotechnology/Chemistry combined with a Masters in Business/Marketing/Commerce (ideally).
Minimum 8 years of experience in business development, sales management and conceptual selling in ASEAN countries.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in the Dietary supplements, pharma or medical device industry.
Demonstrated business and commercial acumen.
Demonstrated Sales leadership capabilities in guiding a sales team.
Well-developed set of selling skills and account management skills and to adapt your style across the customer base.
Well-developed negotiations skills.
Proven project management skills where full ownership of driving new business opportunities is clearly demonstrated by coordinating all team members to achieve the business opportunities.
Ability to listen to specific customer/market needs and have the capability to convert customer pain to business opportunities.
Positive attitude – Achiever, self-motivated, persistent in following up and willingness to develop skills required for personal development.
Highly developed verbal and written communication and presentation skills to build meaningful rapport at all levels both internally and externally.
Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize tasks and own time to meet objectives and timeframes.
Sound knowledge of office software and business operating systems (MS Excel and MS Word essential, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes an advantage).
Well-developed analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills to provide customers with innovative business solutions.
Possess a valid drivers license.
