Role Description

Other key areas of responsibility include the evaluation and provision of commercial guidance on managed care contract opportunities and input on Oncology pipeline assets and BD opportunities. The position requires strong strategic, financial, and analytical thinking as well as substantive experience working with brands and strong working knowledge of the U.S. market and regulatory environment. The job requires direct leadership of the field force, including strategic direction across the portfolio and strong motivational leadership. The role also requires sound judgment, decision making skills, demonstrated ability in handling competing priorities and the proven ability to communicate, lead and gain consensus effectively across a large number of stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

This role will be responsible for group performance and prioritization, including identifying opportunities to accelerate cross-brand learning, prioritizing and resourcing the appropriate above-brand strategies and platform opportunities, and identifying capabilities that need to be strengthened and/or built within the group to achieve near term financial goals and realize long term forecast and vision.* Responsible for RCC, Lung and Immuno-Oncology group P&L, team performance, alignment across the group and resource prioritization both within the portfolio, as well as across the entire North America Oncology team as part of the NALT.* Accountable for commercial partnership and leadership with 3rd party alliance partner, Merck Serono as part of the Immuno-Oncology portfolio.* Leads the Oncology Portfolio Leadership Team comprised of Brand Team Leaders and the Field Sales Leaders.* Determines group-level priorities and strategies (portfolio decision-making)* Develops group workforce plan and manage career paths, learning, and development* Accountable for maintaining a strong and positive culture aligned with OWN-IT* Assist with business development activities and platform-level initiatives as required* Serves as a primary interface for all platform functions for WH including within GCO, PCA,BAI and Finance.

Qualifications

BS/BA required; MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.15 years pharmaceutical marketing experience, preferably recent in-line commercial orrelevant experienceProven track record in managing multiple brands and/or portfolio of products, and competingpriorities.Experience working with Field Sales strongly preferredDemonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional partners and cross-BU colleagues at alllevels of seniority to address barriers and challenges and opportunitiesDemonstrated ability to balance strategic and operational needs; ability to judge as to where,when and how to get more involvedProven ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) to different audiencesappropriatelyDemonstrated influence and leadership in diverse situations*Experience and measurable results working with organized and/or emerging customers a plus
