Global Brands Group Senior Sales Executive (International Distributors) - Juicy Couture in New York, New York

A senior sales role combining the skills of direct retail buying and wholesale sales, to manage a group of international distributors and drive growth across a complex network of Juicy Couture retail stores.

  • Deliver topline wholesale sales and gross profit goals, by effectively managing and growing the distributors’ direct retail sales.

  • Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets, collaborating with a variety of internal and external partners.

  • Build financial plans in accordance with merchandise strategies to maximize sales and profitability.

  • Drive decision making in-season to achieve financial and strategic targets.

  • Optimize sales and inventory productivity through analysis and plans that drive high impact decision making.

  • Forecast financials and related operational metrics.

  • Manage reporting, driving a high standard for analytical excellence.

  • Develop price reduction and exit recommendations with distributors.

  • Align with planning on seasonal receipt plans by dept that support merchandise strategies, penetration shifts between core & fashion & climate/store tiering opportunities in order to deliver topline results.

  • Develop & drive dept strategies for each business, analyzing LY info as well as current market, to support strategy development.

  • Understand the ever shifting, multiple local competitive sets, including pricing, style & key messaging, to constantly set and re-set the sales and merchandising strategies.

  • At least 6 – 8 years related merchandising/buying/selling experience.

  • Experience in Women’s product management.

  • Strong analytic skills.

  • Financial analysis capability.

  • Ability to manage direct reports and drive results through others.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong financial and planning skills.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) Consistent track record of taking ownership and driving results.

  • Comfortable with “hands-on” management of tasks, and proven ability to manage multiple, contending priorities simultaneously.

  • High threshold for working and thriving in an ambiguous, fast paced environment – figuring it out and adapting as you go.

  • Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic modes.
