Global Brands Group Senior Sales Executive (International Distributors) - Juicy Couture in New York, New York
A senior sales role combining the skills of direct retail buying and wholesale sales, to manage a group of international distributors and drive growth across a complex network of Juicy Couture retail stores.
Deliver topline wholesale sales and gross profit goals, by effectively managing and growing the distributors’ direct retail sales.
Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets, collaborating with a variety of internal and external partners.
Build financial plans in accordance with merchandise strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
Drive decision making in-season to achieve financial and strategic targets.
Optimize sales and inventory productivity through analysis and plans that drive high impact decision making.
Forecast financials and related operational metrics.
Manage reporting, driving a high standard for analytical excellence.
Develop price reduction and exit recommendations with distributors.
Align with planning on seasonal receipt plans by dept that support merchandise strategies, penetration shifts between core & fashion & climate/store tiering opportunities in order to deliver topline results.
Develop & drive dept strategies for each business, analyzing LY info as well as current market, to support strategy development.
Understand the ever shifting, multiple local competitive sets, including pricing, style & key messaging, to constantly set and re-set the sales and merchandising strategies.
At least 6 – 8 years related merchandising/buying/selling experience.
Experience in Women’s product management.
Strong analytic skills.
Financial analysis capability.
Ability to manage direct reports and drive results through others.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong financial and planning skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) Consistent track record of taking ownership and driving results.
Comfortable with “hands-on” management of tasks, and proven ability to manage multiple, contending priorities simultaneously.
High threshold for working and thriving in an ambiguous, fast paced environment – figuring it out and adapting as you go.
Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic modes.
