Write and edit articles and news releases
Produce newsletters and e-newsletters
Develop presentations, posters, displays, educational materials, videos, brochures, etc.
Event planning and community engagement
Assist in the production of videos and/or photo shoots
Manage website content

Must be enrolled full time at a 4-year accredited university/college in one of the following degree programs: Communications, Public Affairs, Public Relations, Advertising, Organizational Communications, English, Journalism, or Marketing
Applicant must attend 4-year university within driving distance to the facility in which they will be working
Applicant must be able to work 20 hours per week while attending school full time
GPA requirements: Minimum cumulative 2.8/4.0 (no rounding)
Expected graduation December 2017 and beyond
30 completed semester hours prior to start of internship
If a transfer student, must have 12 semester hours completed at a 4 year university
Strong communication, teamwork, analytical and interpersonal skills
Strong Initiative and Leadership skills
Previous communication internship and/or experience
Experience with Connections, WebEx, Toolkit, Lotus Notes, and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
Experience in developing newsletters, website messages, communication plans, presentations, video development, and event planning
Strong Associated press (AP) / business writing skills and experience
This is a part time temporary opening located in Morton, IL. Relocation is not available for this position.
