Wholesale Cross-Sell & Analytics team provides support across the various Wholesale LOBs. The Analytics team functions as a key central analytic and reporting center of excellence for cross-sell activity, provides insight into Wholesale-wide metrics and reporting needs, and looks for innovative analytic solutions to support business growth.

This team conducts a variety of analyses and reporting such as segmentation, product penetration, opportunity identification and sizing, spatial analyses, and predictive and expert modeling. Analyses and reports support cross-sell, marketing, prospecting, attrition, and any other areas where businesses may need analytic/reporting support. Additionally this team supports senior leader presentations and ongoing reporting needs for Wholesale and its lines of business.

As a Wholesale Cross-Sell Analytic Consultant, you will be part of a team faced with the daily challenge of dealing with complex and imperfect data in the complex Wholesale environment. Your scope will span the various product and relationship lines of business within the Wholesale organization, and require the ability to translate unique business needs into a common top-of-house framework to support Wholesale in aggregate.

The successful candidate will be a passionate self-starter, able and willing to push through data and business challenges independently, relying on leadership when appropriate. They will have a keen ability to see the big picture whilst being “in the weeds” of the data. They will have an insatiable curiosity, never satisfied with only answering the question at hand, continually adding value with the analytics and consultative support they provide. They will be able to understand the unique needs of every business, while identifying less-obvious similarities in order to create accurate and relevant top-of-house executive readouts. The ability to think outside the box of “what is”, envision “what could be”, articulate that vision and actually execute it is critical.

This consultant will :

• Synthesize data and provide distilled and actionable recommendations based on in-depth analysis on cross-LOB performance using various data mining and analytic approaches across disparate data sources. Provide polished output leveraging various visualization tools and approaches in a format appropriate for executive leadership

• Provide analytics and reporting that aggregates the performance of cross-sell across all Wholesale LOBs. Create a single source of truth and total customer view against which all other LOB-specific reporting will be aligned and validated. Understand the drivers of performance, partner with other analysts to identify individual LOB influencers, and draw together into a cohesive story aligned to Total Wholesale goals and strategies.

• Leverage data visualization tools to explore data, uncover new insights, create executive dashboards, and build tools for business partners to create self-service reporting, allowing for relevant customization and personalization

• As reporting and analytics are developed, collaborate with key Cross-Sell Strategy and LOB partners in a matrixed environment to identify and define strategic business issues and goals requiring analysis/tracking

• Be a visionary for new metrics and reporting, thinking creatively to connect the dots where others cannot and clearly articulate and execute the vision

• Have experience navigating a complex data environment, be proficient at finding, combining, and cleansing/transforming data from different data sources, and have the ability to understand data without formal data structure and metadata

• Maintain necessary processes, controls and procedures to ensure data accuracy and business functionality and comply with privacy and security policies.

• Serve as a coach and mentor to junior team members, challenging them to stretch their analytic approach and skillset to the next level

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling
