TE Connectivity is seeking a Contract Staffing Support Specialist to provide support to the Global Talent Acquisition team. Reporting to the Director of Global Talent Acquisition, this position supports a global function. The incumbent will be responsible for logistics and has regular interface with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruiting process. In addition, the Contract Staffing Support Specialist may be responsible for the recruitment of all temp positions. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, with an out-going personality, high energy, ability to adapt to a changing environment, a strong process and organizational focus and a willingness to learn.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reporting and analytics

  • Tracking and reporting metrics for Global Staffing recruiting efforts (i.e. ATS utilization, source, cost, time to fill, diversity, etc).

  • Staffing Operations

  • Maintain centralized document/resource retention for the Global Talent Acquisition department.

  • Partner with key vendors (i.e. third party search, background checks, advertising, etc) and Corporate Procurement to insure proper operational set up and contract administration.

  • Insure timely processing of invoices and accurate accounting principles for Global Talent Acquisition recruitment efforts.

  • Support efforts and inquiries from the Global HR Community regarding US & Global content of the HRIC (SharePoint site for Talent Acquisitions).

  • Request Network ID’s for new hires to ensure network access and ability to order desktop equipment/technology, etc. prior to start.

  • Support overall recruiting team with special assignments/ projects to support the client needs for talent acquisition (including university relations and career fairs).

  • Assist with Corporate temporary hiring needs as needed.

  • Candidate Care Program

  • Approaching all contact with candidates – from early talent through executive level candidates– from the perspective of the candidate, to insure an exemplary experience with TE. This includes all candidate interaction/ correspondence, scheduling, reference checks, screening, marketing, travel support, and on-boarding. Providing strong customer focus throughout the process.

  • Insure proper replenishment of new hire packet content inventory.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate Degree required or equivalent work experience.

  • 5 years of work experience, with previous experience as a Recruiting / HR Coordinator, HR Assistant or junior HR Generalist. Proven administrative experience required.

  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System required.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills – with focus on customer service.

  • Highly proficient computer skills (Internet, MS Office to include PowerPoint and Excel).

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global team and in a matrix environment.

  • Self-directed with high-level of initiative and strong work ethic.

  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to multi-task.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and results oriented.

  • Strong time management skills, and adaptive to change while working in a "forward thinking" environment.

  • Demonstrated process and project management ability.

  • Experience with iCIMS, SharePoint, and SAP Finance preferred (not required).
