WellStar Medical Group is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our well established inpatient neurology / neuro critical care practice. This is a nocturnist position, working 15 night shifts per month at WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia.
Neurology experience preferred, ACNP certification required.
Kennestone Hospital provides comprehensive neurological care with 24/7 neurointerventional, neurosurgical, neuroradiology and neurology services. The facilities include a 23 bed integrated neurological ICU, the busiest emergency room in the state of Georgia with over 2,000 patients with stroke presenting to the health system. The Neuroscience group is supported by midlevel providers, stroke coordinator, research coordinators and an integrated physician core group of neurosurgeons and neurologists. The WellStar Research Institute supports physician initiated, NIH and industry sponsored clinical trials.
