Job Description: 1. Work with Chief Production and Training Pilot, Chief Test Pilot, Program Engineering, the Lead Loadmaster and Production Delivery on the development and publication of Flight Standards Manual and customer supplements as they relate to the Loadmaster position. 2. Work with Chief Production and Training Pilot, Chief Test Pilot, Production Flight, the Lead Loadmaster and Safety for LMAero requirements and preparation for all annual or regularly scheduled inspections, i.e. AOI, D Flying, and DCMA 3. Work with Chief Production and Training Pilot, Chief Test Pilot, Flight Operations Dispatchers, DCMA, and the Lead Loadmaster for LMAero annual review of Flight Operations Procedures manual regarding all matters related to Loadmaster currency and qualification requirements. 4. Work with Chief Production and Training Pilot, Chief Test Pilot, Customer Support, Tech Pubs, Chief Program Pilots and/or the Lead Loadmaster/Aircraft System Specialists to insure customer Flight Manuals are accurate and correct. 5. Work with Chief Production and Training Pilot, Chief Test Pilot, Lead Training Pilot and Lead Training Coordinator to insure customer training material accurately reflects the customer configuration. Author and instruct contracted training in classroom, simulator or aircraft settings. 6. Perform Production Acceptance Flights, Engineering Test Flights, Customer Demonstration, Acceptance and Training Flights. 7. Attend Flight Manual Conferences and review and approve changes/supplements to the flight manuals. Member of the flight manual committee and reviews manual changes for accuracy as they relate to Loadmaster issues.
Basic Qualifications Current or recently qualified/experience as a C-130J Instructor Loadmaster or Flight Examiner. Five years and 750 hours of operational flying, flight test or acceptance test experience. Current Military or FAA Class II Flight Physical or ability get one Experience in classroom instruction, courseware development and training. Experience using MS Office (Power Point, Project, Excel, Word). Willing to work swing shift and weekends. Must be capable of working effectively in a team environment. Willing to travel both domestic and internationally.
Desired skills Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or Management field. Current or recently qualified as a C-130J Instructor Loadmaster or Flight Examiner. Previously qualified as a C-130 or C-27 loadmaster. FCF/ACF qualified in the C-130, J model experience preferred. Special Operations experience preferred C-130 maintenance experience. Previous certifications as Hazardous Materials Inspector, Airdrop Rigger or Joint Airdrop Inspector (JAI).
