GLOBALFOUNDRIES Commodity Manager - Lithography Materials in Malta, New York

Summary of Role:

**Commodity Manager - Lithography Materials commodity role is critical to ensure competitive supply of high quality lithography materials and services to the GLOBALFOUNDRIES Fab 8 operations. This role works closely with key stakeholders to define requirements and with the broader US and Global Supply Management Team to fully leverage the supply base and best practices from both a commercial and technical standpoint.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • **Define sourcing strategy(s) for assigned lithography commodity in alignment with the objectives of the Global Supply Management organization

  • Act as the primary supplier facing interface to enable supplier development and collaboration

  • Plan and conduct commercial negotiations and support global negotiations as required

  • Act as the primary procurement point of contact for stakeholders for assigned commodity(s) for both ongoing manufacturing operations and new product development activities

  • Support site specific supply issues working closely with Operations, Quality, and other key internal stakeholders

  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities, alternative sourcing strategies, global price trends, and communicate progress / achievements to realize maximum value and organizational objectives

  • Monitor the local and global market to identify potential new suppliers, product derivatives, and product innovations

  • Analyze, manage, and control contractual agreements and prepare renegotiations to achieve commercial and technical objectives

  • Establish a robust business continuity sourcing plan for assigned commodity(s) via identifying supply base and geographic risks with corresponding mitigation plans

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree inEngineering, Science, Business Administration and/or relevant field of study

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Fluency in English Language – written & verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Science or Engineering or related field study

  • In-depth knowledge of lithography materials and related supply base

  • Proficiency in sourcing related skills including demonstrated ability to drive sourcing strategy development and execution, contract management and supplier performance management

  • Ability to lead projects and cross-functional teams

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and influence stakeholders and team members.

  • Experience in a semi-conductor environment or related industry
