St. Mary's Good Samaritan Talent Acquisition Specialist in Madison, Wisconsin
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for recruitment and selection of qualified candidates to meet the hiring needs of SSM Health Dean Medical Group and its subsidiaries. Responsibilities include identifying, attracting and evaluating active and passive candidates for entry and professional level positions. The Talent Acquisition Specialist consults with the Human Resources Partner or Human Resource Leader and Hiring Manager to identify hiring needs, evaluates candidates against position requirements and provides interview and hiring recommendations.
Performs full life cycle recruiting responsibilities including: sourcing, screening, interviewing, evaluating and hiring potential candidates for entry and professional level positions.
Partners with hiring managers and HR staff to identify position requirements and develops/deploys tailored recruitment strategies.
Identifies appropriate sourcing tools/techniques to meet recruitment needs (e.g. social media, advertising, direct contact, employee referrals, employment agencies, and job fairs).
Effectively screens and interviews candidates for pay requirements, skills, experience, education and fit against job requirements.
Recommends candidates to hiring managers based on criteria used in the evaluation process.
Develops pipeline of talent for frequently filled, ongoing openings.
Assists Human Resources management in the overall administration, communication and analysis of corporate recruiting programs and responsibilities.
May develop and propose improvement to policies, programs and procedures
to improve the effectiveness of the recruiting function.
Maintain regular ongoing communication with HR and hiring managers regarding the status of each search.
Identifies and implements best practices to source high quality of hires while ensuring appropriate recruitment cycle times and cost per hire.
May manage searches involving vendor partners (external recruiting firms).
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources or a related field or two years of comparable experience in recruiting, preferably in a corporate setting.
Demonstrated ability to manage the workload volume required for the position.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with hiring leaders/managers.
Professional level written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding the Mission and Values of SSM Health and the Franciscan Sisters of Mary.
Ability and desire to integrate CQI principles and tolls into work processes.
Ability to travel to various Dean Medical Group locations.
- Current or recent experience recruiting in a health care environment.
