L.A. Care Health Plan Pharmacy Oversight Examiner in Los Angeles, California

DUTIES The Pharmacy Oversight Examiner will have primary operational responsibility for monitoring compliance with CMS Part D regulations. Additional responsibility will involve auditing the performance of the vendors supporting the delegated pharmacy functions and assuring regulatory and contractual compliance. Vendors include, but are not limited to, the pharmacy benefit manager (PBM), Plan Partners, Providers, and Specialty Pharmacies.

EDUCATION ** Required Bachelor's Degree

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS Preferred Pharm. Tech

*EXPERIENCE * Required 3 years auditing, regulatory, or compliance experience in a health care setting Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations/compliance in pharmacy Good critical thinking, investigative and problem solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
