Within IFS, we have 6 regional Trust Centers that support clients and field offices by providing trust administration, investment management, and fiduciary services.

This Trust Administrator 1 position is on the National New Accounts Team and is responsible for reviewing and setting up agency, custody, IRA and trust accounts to ensure compliance with internal company requirements and/or government regulations. The position will complete the account opening process for all Trust Center new accounts. Other responsibilities include performing a review of client documents, ensuring the proper setup of fees and client statements, as well as an audit of the account’s coding on the trust accounting system and partnering with local office staff to resolve any non-critical exceptions. Additionally, this position will be expected to mitigate risk by working with internal partners, management and/or fiduciary risk management to resolve administrative issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following industries: financial, trust, or legal-or one of the following degrees or certifications: BA or higher in Trust & Wealth Management, JD, Certified Financial Planner or Certified Trust Fiduciary Advisor

  • Good PC skills with the aptitude to learn new systems quickly

  • Knowledge and understanding of estate, trust, or fiduciary administration

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
