Freeman is looking for a Forklift Operator who will be responsible for operating material, handling equipment for the purpose of moving, loading, unloading, picking, and counting merchandise in accordance with production and safety standards. Other responsibilities include:

  • Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed

  • Safely operating a forklift, carries materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas

  • Loads or unloads materials onto of off of pallets using forklift

  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code


  • Minimum three (3) months related experience and/or training

  • Forklift certification or ability to participate in training and become certified

  • Ability to understand and follows standard safety measures while operating equipment


  • High School Diploma or GED


  • Associate's Degree
