Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Email Marketing Specialist is to support all activities related to creating and deploying various forms of campaigns to our email database intended to increase occupancy levels and revenue. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian | The Palazzo Casino Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing a productive relationship with email vendor (ESP) as key client point-of-contact to maximize vendor value.

  • Work effectively with others and other departments to streamline current processes and procedures, in order to, scale direct and partner marketing programs to achieve revenue and cost goals.

  • Manage all aspects of campaign production and deployment

  • Offer process

  • Approval routing process

  • Testing and deployment process

  • Calendar planning

  • Production timetable workflow process

  • Cross-departmental and cross-functional interaction and collaboration

  • Trafficking for email channel

  • Support competitive analysis

  • Keep current of new technologies and Incorporate into email program to maintain an innovative program

  • Create and maintain rigorous testing program to ensure optimal performance of email channel

  • Analyze data by campaign to quickly key in on needs of improvement

  • Creating email campaigns from inception to deployment.

  • Assisting in the strategy behind campaigns and the creation of new marketing opportunities.

  • Maintaining a competitive analysis of competitor emails.

  • Conduct regular meetings with the appropriate vendors and partners to discuss current projects and manage relationships to get all possible ideas/best practiced from them implemented and tested.

  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Sales or Marketing.

  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States;

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or marketing related field preferred.

  • Proficiency in MS Office products required.

  • Ability to integrate traditional communications strategies into online media tactics, knowledge and experience with digital media, online tools, and the use of analytics tools to measure traffic and conversion preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple departments, as well as with external guests is required. Must have ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.

  • Must be very detail oriented and organized.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion in English, both in spoken and written form.

  • Have interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts.

  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company appearance standards.

  • Maintain consistent adherence to the Venetian and Palazzo Unmatched Guest Service Standards.

  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
