Job Description and Responsibilities:

The Assistant Chef Bread Baker is responsible for supporting the Executive Bread Baker.
Responsible for supporting the Executive Baker in all aspects of production, cost control, completing inventories and food requisitions.
Manages and trains Bakery staff.
Supports the Chefs des Parties and Trainee if necessary.
Supervises the production of bread in all stages, ensuring food quality according to outlet standards and ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards.
Candidates must be able to communicate, read and write in English fluently and in a professional manner.
Ability to communicate in Spanish a plus.
Requires a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in industrial and artisan bakeries.
A baking degree or certification is preferred, but not required.
Candidate must have advanced knowledge of baking, sanitation and cost control.
The Candidate must be able to manage all aspects of the bakery operation.
Requires the ability to work efficiently and within a team environment.
