Enterprise Finance plans, tracks, analyzes and reports financial results, manages the company’s balance sheet, including funding, capital and investments; oversees internal real estate needs; drives acquisitions; is responsible for financial controls; and leads corporate strategy.

Enterprise Finance identifies areas of financial risk and mitigates efforts appropriately. It works with capital markets to provide lowest possible costs of incremental funding, subject to capital and financial risk management constraints. It improves financial performance by analyzing business unit performance and recommending areas of improvement. Enterprise Finance is seeking a Financial Consultant 3 to support Wells Fargo Equipment Finance (WFEF)-Vendor Financial Services. WFEF is a nationwide equipment finance company offering a full range of loan and lease products to businesses for all of their equipment needs.

The Financial Consultant will be responsible to providing financial planning, analysis and reporting support during planning sessions, month, quarter and year end close. Track and analyze new business and portfolio program profitability. Act as a key financial resource for senior management and other internal partners (e.g., Risk, Asset Management, Operations, Legal, and HR).

Specific responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Support preparation for monthly and quarterly financial outlook / forecast.

  • Identify and articulate risks and opportunities relevant to the forecast period.

  • Prepare financial projections for key planning sessions and operating plans.

  • Prepare critical analyses of business results (net income, trend analysis, productivity metrics, etc.).

  • Help implement financial modeling improvements in planning and forecasting to enhance process efficiency, support new initiatives, and to accurately capture the changing business economics and structure.

  • Prepares management presentations for financial performance and projections.

  • Partner with the Commercial team to build new business volume and spread assumptions.

  • Collaborate with Pricing, Risk and Asset Management to refresh profitability assumptions for new business pricing.

  • Track and report new business and portfolio program profitability.

  • Participate on cross-functional process improvement teams to promote operational efficiencies.

  • Assist with reviewing work products performed by offshore resource.

  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of finance experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics

  • Financial analysis experience

  • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of lease and loan products

  • Solid critical thinking skills

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to turn findings into executable plans to meet business objectives

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

  • Quantitative or qualitative data analysis experience

  • Hyperion Essbase experience

  • Financial modeling experience
