  • Position objective**: *The Senior Director of the Transformation Office is responsible for strategic direction of the development and implementation of sustainable common digital platforms necessary for delivering great experiences for customers interacting with ACT by utilizing the outputs of Customer Experience, Responsive Targeting Operating Model, Operational Excellence, and Enterprise Architecture. The Senior Director will work closely with Enterprise Architecture, the technology teams and business areas to provide singular focus on the implementation and consistency in governance of the new common digital platforms.

The Senior Director:

  • Leads high level teams focused on implementation of strategic objectives

  • Manages platform and adoption and sunset plans by managing change through the organization

  • Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges; recommends process, product or service improvements

  • Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business

  • Contributes to the development of functional strategy

  • Operates with high level of autonomy in a complex environment

  • Supports an Agile operating model in the delivery of services and the programs that implement those services

Typical work-related activities include:

  • Setup and lead blended teams (Internal and augmented staff) focused on the implementation of strategic initiatives

  • Directly manage the team of Service Owners to elaborate & translate strategic initiatives into Platform Roadmaps, feature requirements and specifications

  • Setup a consistent operating and executing model to manage services

  • Drive the generation of service roadmaps, utilizing existing practices and tools

  • Provide timely updates and program-level dashboard to the executives & business leaders across the organization

  • Provide relevant facts, governance, approval and insight for the service programs

  • Provide timely updates of the program statuses for outcomes achieved, schedule, budget and spend through dashboards and periodic review meetings with stakeholders and executives

  • Collaborate with leaders to determine business needs, information, applications, technology architecture services and long term plans while helping to ensure integration with strategic plans

  • Collaborate with leaders to manage technology and business change while adopting the services developed in the TMO across the wider organization and customers

  • Mentor service owners, service analysts, program managers, architects and technical resources in business/IT alignment as needed

  • Ensure alignments of service related strategic initiatives and programs with the Common Digital Platform Strategy



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field of study

  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired


  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience required in multiple IT disciplines such as technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management, and/or business analysis within a multitier organization, including at least five years’ experience in an Enterprise Architect type role

  • Previous experience and demonstrated success leading, managing, and building teams required

  • Combined management experience in Product Management, Technology Change Management, and Technical Delivery a plus

  • Experience in an Agile delivery shop, with complex and large integrations

  • Experience with business systems in various functions of the enterprise

  • Demonstrated focus on relationship building; ability to work with other leaders and peers across the organization

  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments, and familiarity with information management practices and the ability to rapidly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies

  • Experience translating business needs into system-level solutions and implementation roadmaps


  • Must be results-oriented and able to work across the organization as well as lead a team that has same abilities

  • Focus on relationship building, ability to work with other leaders and peers across the organization

  • Should be comfortable working in a rapidly transforming organization

  • Proficient knowledge of networking protocols, architectures, and systems

  • Proficient knowledge of project management and organizational skills

  • Financial Management skills and deep understanding of ROI

  • Advanced skills to participate in IT planning and new solutions development

  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture standards

  • Comprehensive understanding of evolving industry trends, practices, and standards

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
