We are seeking a Senior Event Technician is responsible for or assisting with the floor operations, including set-up, removal and operation of technology equipment in a team and hotel environment with a focus on delivering unmatched customer service and providing an overall positive experience for our guest/client. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Provide leadership to the technician crew

  • Take lead to ensure all event set-ups are completed according to Company standard and meet the client’s expectorations.

  • Ensure strikes are completed according to Company standard and are completed with a focus on crew safety.

  • Greet guest/client before event and provide clear instructions on how to operate equipment.

  • Look for opportunities to enhance client’s event.

  • Ensures all inventory is in good working order and rental condition.

  • Complies with all Company security and safety measures and is constantly aware of the property inventory and location of equipment and ensures inventory is secure from theft and/or damage.

  • Ensure any lost, stolen or damaged equipment is immediately reported to the Director.

  • Continually work toward updating and improving technical skills to include audio, video/data, lighting, staging and computer operation and networking.

  • Provide continued communication with client to ensure success of all events.

  • Follows through on all client requests.

  • Maintain accurate client event information within the Company’s business system.

  • Review daily invoices with client and obtain client’s signature on invoice.

  • Make sure all Company occupied areas are clean, organized, and up to Company standards.

  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures

  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum (3) three years prior experience in the audio visual and/or hospitality industry.

  • Computer proficiency (hardware, software and networking).

  • Demonstrated technical aptitude.

  • Must have working knowledge of computer hardware and software (PC and MAC).

  • Planning ability; able to plan ahead and prioritize.

  • Demonstrated organizational skills.

  • Proven inter-personnel skills.

  • Must possess verbal and written communications skills.

  • Must have customer focus.

  • Proven team player orientation.

  • Demonstrated professional appearance.
