WellStar Paulding Hospital

Think beauty, think innovation, think safety. Filled with natural light and innovative, safety-oriented features, the new eight-floor, 295,000-square foot hospital has 56 beds, with the ability to expand to 112 beds. The facility houses 40 emergency exam and pediatric emergency exam rooms, four surgical suites, decentralized nursing stations, private inpatient rooms, administrative offices and a café. It is entirely electronic and was designed with the guiding purpose of being the safest hospital in the world safe to patients and families, team members, the community and the environment.

Responsible for delivering meal to patients in a professional, courteous and efficient manner. Responsible for confirming and reconfirming correct tray delivered to correct patient. Represent the hospital and department in a professional and caring manner. Instruct patients in the meal ordering process. Assumes the role of patient advocate.

Education:

High School Diploma/GED

Experience:

Hospital food service experience preferred

Skills:

Outstanding interpersonal skills and a positive attitude required

Basic knowledge of modified diets

Adequate phone skills for interacting with internal and external customers

Ability to perform duties in a very busy environment

Must be able to communicate and understand verbal and written English
