Job Description

We're currently seeking a Production Manager for a client in the High Point, NC who is looking for an opportunity to be part of a growing company.

The Production Manager will direct and coordinate activities of production department(s) in processing materials or manufacturing products in industrial organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors/leads.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for quality, safety and customer satisfaction.

  • Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations.

  • Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.

  • Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.

  • Ensures manufacturing areas are fully staffed per manufacturing schedule adjusting associates as required

  • Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.

  • Ensures materials are requisitioned on time to support production schedule.

  • Ensures machines and equipment are operating at maximum performance and optimum utilization.

  • Ensure all supervisors/managers follow established manufacturing process.

  • Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Three to five years as Dept Manager role of practical manufacturing experience in a plant environment.
