Job Description:

This position is primarily responsible for developing sales related training programs that will increase the performance of existing sales people as well as train new sales professionals joining the company. The MD of Sales Training will participate in the development and delivery of training for the entire company, including recruiting, sales, leadership/management, business processes, business strategy, and specific job skills. The MD of Sales Training will help coordinate and facilitate both classroom and online learning. The MD of Sales Training will also manage the set-up, compliance and completion of various training courses through Apex’s Learning Management System (LMS). The MD of Sales Training will work with key stakeholders, subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to develop training that is compliant, accurate and best-in-class.

Job Requirements:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

  • Responsible for designing, developing and managing the production/distribution of quality distance learning programs for employees

  • Using materials already developed for classroom training, designs and develops training using multiple distance learning delivery methods

  • Develops and provides input to complement and support instructor-led training, including case studies, role plays, exercises, job aids and sales tools to support learning

  • Researches, reviews and disseminates industry, product/service, and project-specific information to ensure internal audiences have current and accurate information to support recruiting activities

  • Identifies knowledge, skill and performance gaps and develops training to address specific needs.

  • Creates knowledge and skills assessments as part of Oral Board process for Sales Trainee program

  • Conducts needs analyses and consults with operations to ensure program integrity and relevance to the business

  • Champion for training and changes in Front Office System, particularly around the sales function

  • Facilitates daily/weekly webinars around Sales Trainee program

  • Monitors metrics and statistics around performance of sales force. Looks for ways to positively impact sales performance through training

Education and Experience:

  • 4-year degree and minimum 2 years corporate training or sales training experience preferred or minimum of 3 years in Sales for Apex Systems.

  • Effective facilitation skills are a must.

  • Experience designing and developing training for blended learning environments including instructor-led, web-based, computer-based, etc.

  • Experience working with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to accomplish key objectives.

  • Approximately up to 20% travel required.
