POSITION SUMMARY

Collaborates with the Reporting & Analytics’ Team and the Clinical & Benefit Configuration Director and Managers to provide tactical plans for executing resource deployment strategies, a balanced and level loaded workflow, and output expectations based upon demand and capacity analysis on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Uses historical service request volume taking into consideration seasonality, current trend, and known events such as projects, IT development, and benefit plan changes to create a capacity / demand plan. Performs retrospective metrics analysis for continuous improvement opportunities. Monitors the day to day workflow and, in collaboration with the department Managers, makes changes to resource allocation to insure cost and service level attainment along with develop a holistic end to end workflow process that is aligned to all processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Creates and distributes daily, weekly, and monthly resource, workflow, and output schedules to Director, Manager Leadership Team, and Other Leadership.

  • Identifies capacity variances and collaborates with Director and Manager level peers to adjust productivity accordingly to insure cost and service level goal attainment.

  • Provides retrospective analysis of schedule performance and continuously improves the process.

  • Monitors performance and adjusts capacity to insure cost and service level goal attainment.

  • Leads Production Meeting with Managers and Vendor.

  • Presents scheduling metrics at weekly staff meeting.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 5-8 years of experience

  • General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, Internet, and email. Strong analytical and technical skills

  • Previous production coordination desirable (Manufacturing, Operations, etc.). Excellent communication skills & the ability to influence without authority. Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, solve problems and make decisions with minimal supervision. Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.

The Clinical & Benefit Configuration Area resides within the Client Service organization, as part of Operations. This department is responsible for benefit configuration & maintenance. Benefit setup covers utilization management, formulary, drug plans, pricing, and pharmacy specific coverage. These centralized functions support the client lifecycle throughout the enterprise to help Express Scripts “get it right the first time” to increase client satisfaction and reduce waste and the cost of rework.ABOUT EXPRESS SCRIPTS
