Drew-Marine Director - Supply Chain-US-ACR in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

The Supply Chain Director will provide leadership for the development and implementation of processes that form best practices related to suppliers, systems, schedule, cost, quality, and delivery.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and execute supply chain and logistics strategies and plans to meet short-term and long-term supply chain management goals
Formulate integrated supply chain strategies to ensure best practices in procurement, subcontracts, material planning, and implementation of policy
Manage purchasing, supply planning, demand planning, strategic procurement, distribution, and logistics
Lead Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP); report and monitor metrics for supply planning and forecasting
Develop and execute tactical operational plans for new products
Establish inventory targets and safety stocks levels as well as participate in inventory reductions initiative with other departments
Work closely with Sales to ensure that products and promotions are well planned and executed
Develop and train employees at all levels of the organization to foster teamwork and involvement
Establish effective communications with executives and managers across the company
Performs other related duties as required
Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills:
12+ years' related supply chain experience
3 years' management experience
Strong analytical and planning skills
Strong communication skills
Proficient with all Microsoft applications
Experience with ERP systems
Strong negotiation skills
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
Physical Working Environment:
The position works in a climate controlled office environment and requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time.
