Job Summary

Provides general secretarial and administrative duties such as composing and typing correspondence, maintaining departmental files and assisting in monitoring department budgets. Gathers, prepares and coordinates reports and project as required. Uses discretion and judgment when screening important visitors and telephone calls, relaying confidential information, planning and organizing work load to ensure established priorities are met.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Previous office experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Long term care experience preferred.

  • Dementia (memory support) experience preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Other Qualifications

Ability to multi-task, be customer service focused and deal effectively with all levels of management and employees.
