Ensure IT Services deliver value to business stakeholders in the UK and Ireland in relation to client-facing infrastructure and services

Own and manage client-facing platforms, infrastructure and data room hosting service management and policies for the UK

Governance of client facing platform and investments of c$30m

Responsibilities

  • Drive the successful delivery of all IT projects/programmes which support client facing environments, infrastructure and services (including Managed Services) across the UK and Ireland (geographies), including (but not restricted to):
    • Business impact
    • Change management
    • Stakeholder management
    • Communications

  • Drive the successful decommissioning of the ASC in MLP, including (but not restricted to):
    • Reallocation of data and services as appropriate
    • Stakeholder management
    • Return of room to office space

  • Drive the programme management for Vendor-hosted environments (e.g. RAX)
  • Support the UK&I BTEL in the creation and management of a Service Delivery Operating Framework for internal/external client facing environments and services
  • Support the UK&I BTEL in the creation and management of Service Level Agreements and reporting for internal/external client facing environments and services
  • Work in collaboration with UK&I Finance and Enterprise IT and Knowledge Programme Manager to understand, manage, control and report on the UK IT spend relating to client-facing infrastructure and services (including Managed Services), including (but not restricted to):
  • Approval of IT PO’s and invoices
  • Manage the pipeline and reporting, including business planning, monthly reporting of actuals against budget, dashboards, cost allocation
  • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders across UK&I and FSO UK, working collaboratively with them to understand their business needs with regard to client-facing infrastructure and services
  • Manage the day to day service management for client-facing hosting and services across the UK, including but not restricted to:
  • Service monitoring: SLHS, Facilities Engineering, Facilities Management, RAX
  • Issue escalation (Vendor / IT to business; business to Vendor / IT)
  • Host and facilitate governance steering committee meetings
  • Oversee the Governance model for preparation of business cases for Steering Group
  • Prepare monthly reports and dashboards
  • Provide BTE Subject Matter Expert (SME) guidance to CBS functions e.g. Supplier Relationship Management, Procurement and Legal
  • Act as BTE SME for special projects e.g. Intelligent Workplace, EYX and others

  • Excellent presentation skills, and ability to communicate with various audiences, senior stakeholders across the business and members of IT Services
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Multi-tasking skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Excel for financial management; Word for business and technical documentation; and PowerPoints for stakeholder communication and governance
