The TFS Accounting group is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Accounting Supervisor, Dealer Products (DPA) to support its objectives.

Reporting to the National Manager, Insurance & Commercial Lines the primary responsibility for the Accounting Supervisor, Dealer Products is to support the accounting and reporting functions for the company’s dealer financing portfolios.

What you’ll be doing

Oversee and direct monthly, quarterly and annual accounting and reporting and related analysis functions Coordinate and support the annual external audit review Identify and research accounting issues/changes to ensure adherence to GAAP Coordinate SOX 404 compliance and testing Serve as a Dealer Products Accounting subject matter expert for significant projects and initiatives Identify and implement Kaizen (process improvements) projects Supervise staff of contingent workers, provide feedback and assess performance, and provide guidance and assistance as needed in the resolution of issues that arise What you bring

Four-Year College Degree in Business, Accounting or related field 5 years of relevant work experience (in similar field and/or industry) Minimum 4 years of experience working for a Big 4 or mid-tier public accounting firm with evidence of increasing levels of responsibility 2 years in accounting leadership experience, managing teams Certified Public Accountant Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Experienced in use of DB2, SQL and other software preferred PeopleSoft (ERP) general ledger and Hyperion (HFM) Reporting tools preferred Short-term travel required to HQ in CA (max. 10-15%) in the first year What we’ll bring
