Job Description AVP, Finance Applications


We are looking for a hands-on Leader in Finance Applications implantations with direct experience in Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials suite of products, Cash Management, Financial Reporting, and System Integrations. This is a techno-functional position that will work with a multidisciplinary product team focusing on core implementation, development, and integration, with other firm-owned systems. This person will deliver well-executed and timely solutions and provide support to critical business users.

This position requires a minimum of 2+ years of experience on Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials and overall 15+ years of deep experience in Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) financials.

The Ideal Candidate will Exhibit the following:

  • Lead the Implementation and support of Oracle Cloud Fusion line of products including General, Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, HCM, Taleo, One Stream, and other products

  • Candidate must possess strong process knowledge in Finance environment - accounting, consolidation and reporting, and ability to lead solution design discussions to meet customer business needs.

  • Ideal candidate should be able to collaborate with business and management to build product roadmap, own implementation, maintain timeline and ensure timely delivery.

Deep experience in one or more of the following is required:

  • Procure To Pay (P2P):

  • Proven Hands-on experience in implementing and supporting some combination of Oracle Procurement applications such as: Purchasing, Sourcing, Procurement Contracts, Self-Service Procurement, Supplier Portal, Supplier Lifecycle Management

  • Deep hands on experience in Cloud Fusion Finance modules: Accounts Payables, approvals, Payments, and reporting

  • Fusion Reporting/Record to Report (R2R): o Deep Reporting experience in Oracle Fusion environment

  • Must have Expertise in utilizing reporting technologies to define value added reports. Candidate needs to be an expert in - OTBI, SmartView, BI Publisher, Financial Reporting Studio (FRS)

  • Deep knowledge of OBIE preferred o Familiarity with Reporting technology like OneStream is a big plus o Must have ability to collect, prepare, and build reports covering areas like Budget VS Actuals, Roll-forward reports out of Fixed Asset Sub-ledger, Clearing Reconciliations reports, etc.

  • Candidate should be able to build scheduled batch reports

  • Experience in pulling data out of Fusion into an external database and building reports from external database a big plus.

  • Candidate should have experience in building Integrations with other systems like: Concur, OneStream, Solomon, Geneva and others

  • Ability to Work with the team to identify business requirements and map them to the Oracle Fusion functionality and Reports

  • Identify functionality gaps and develop solutions for them.

  • Must have strong orientation for Designing, building, testing and deploying Fusion Applications

  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate requirements into design documents and working solutions is required.

  • Ideal candidate will have Oracle EBS Financials Management Certification; Cloud Fusion Financials certification is preferred


Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems or related fields Minimum of 15 years of professional work experience
