Job Description / Information
The Key Accounts Director develops long-term relationships with accounts, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. Liaison between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions.
Develops and maintains outstanding relationships with systems, leveraging internal and external relationships to drive services and solutions at each account.
Collaborates with internal and external resources establishing key account strategies to improve activity at account targets.
Establishes key Performance Solutions cross functional team both internal and external to improve and increase utilization at designated corporate accts.
Project manages key account and Performance Solutions activities to increase services and solutions.
Establishes key internal operating mechanisms to improve account penetration
Understanding of how to sell Performance Solutions services to hospital executives and surgeons. Strong executive presence and presentation skills.
Must be effective in partnering with marketing, sales management, Client Executives and Stryker sales teams to build the strategies that will further support increased account utilization.
Excellent communication and team building skills.
Travel to support Performance Solutions Client Executives on site at key corporate sites.
Travel to support Performance Solutions at corporate account meetings with executives.
Conducts sales through a budgeted and off budget process.
Collaborate with Corporate partner’s qtrly or as needed to communicate account updates.
Provide additional corporate support to Performance Solutions Sales and Recon Corporate Accounts as needed.
Assist Client Executives in closing designated sales where possible.
5+ years demonstrated project management experience or sales management in healthcare.
7 + years’ experience in the healthcare field in sales or related roles
Demonstrated ability building and maintaining professional relationships; prefer existing surgeons & hospitals relationships in assigned areas/territory
Demonstrated ability to translate clinical & financial benefits of products and services to economic value to the health care provider and is comfortable with financial based selling tools
Prefer experience in surgical orthopedics
Demonstrated presentation and communication skills, verbal and written.
Demonstrated Executive selling experience background (CEO/CFO/COO of hospitals)
Demonstrated understanding of the financial operations of hospitals
Bachelor’s Degree in business, pre-med or other relevant field of study
