We are looking for a hardworking, dedicated Executive Assistant to support an EVP in WIM that serves as the Head of Global Alternative Investments (GAI) for Wells Fargo Investment Institute (WFII) and Wealth Management (WM) Deputy Chief Investment Officer. The successful candidate will perform a variety of duties including but are not limited to:

  • Working with a high degree of confidentiality in all matters

  • Proactively managing an Outlook calendar with a high level of detail

  • Maintaining a strong attention to detail with every task

  • Handling phone calls from clients, vendors and internal partners

  • Anticipating manager’s needs and prepares materials/data before being asked to do so

  • Providing support for and/or facilitating larger projects and meetings

  • Manage the travel schedule for the executive

  • Handling sensitive client and team member issues with the utmost attention to confidentiality

  • Using Word, Excel and PowerPoint (and other appropriate software) to compose complex, confidential correspondence, reports, and presentations

  • Researching general ledger issues and balancing general ledger lines

  • Reconciling expense accounts and approving expense reports for manager’s direct reports

  • Coordinating and managing agendas for management meetings, off-sites and events

  • Assisting with budgetary planning and compiling statistical data for financial planning

  • Processing accounts payable billings

  • Acting as an information source on group and company policies

This position can only be located in Charlotte, NC. Relocation assistance is not available.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of administrative support experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of procurement, provisioning, or invoicing functions support

  • Knowledge and understanding of wealth and investment management

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Strong research and documentation skills

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
