Due to our recent growth and expansion, we have an opportunity available for a PRN Ultrasound Tech to join our team! The Ultrasound Tech performs quality ultrasound procedures under the supervision of the Radiologist.


  • Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data

  • Schedules and coordinates tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs

  • Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed

  • Performs a variety of tasks under general supervision

  • Required to be on-call, as needed


  • Requires a two (2) year allied health degree and/or successful completion of an approved program in Ultrasound Technology

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an acute care hospital setting with demonstrated knowledge of technical, diagnostic, and emergency procedures related to Imaging/Radiology

  • Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) required

  • RVT preferred

  • Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required

  • Ability to be on-call required
