The Organizational Development Consultant, Change Management is a key member of the Organizational Development and Training team and will possess a great mix of project management, classroom standup skills, and solid experience in relationship management with clients in a highly complex academic medicine environment. Partners with Cooper University Hospital senior leaders as a consultant for the purposes of identifying, developing and building organizational capability for service excellence linking to business outcomes. Facilitates large-scale change initiatives in support of Cooper’s strategic goals. Consults with managers to identify the requisite staff competencies/behaviors and creates interventions to develop and sustain them. Designs, develops and facilitates educational solutions to improve staff performance. Coordinates the design, development, implementation and measurement of change management initiatives.
Ability to build rapport with clients and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Significant training delivery and front of the room facilitation experience.
Process consultation and organizational intervention planning.
Demonstrated knowledge and implementation of change management theory and process.
Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning theory and learning design theory.
Operational knowledge of process improvement methodology.
Project Management Skills
Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) required.
Bachelors Degree required. Masters Degree in Business or Organizational Development preferred.
Minimum 5 yrs experience in organizational development wih preferred experience in healthcare sector.
Certification in at least two organizational development programs or assessment tools such as MBTI, Crucial Conversations, Emotional Intelligence, 360 degree feedback, HBDI, GDQ.
