Job Description

Job Summary:Member of the Leadership team (direct reports of CCO) responsible for the ex-US commercial efforts and mgmt. of partners worldwide across the ARIAD portfolio. This individual will be responsible for ensuring long-term growth and success of ARIAD products across ex-US geographies and current/future indications. He/she will support global product strategy through cross-functional input and provide commercial support to ARIAD ex-US partners. This individual will also support Corporate Strategic Planning and Business Development activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the ex-US execution of the global commercialization plans to meet forecast projections and achieve the broader ARIAD corporate objectives

  • Supports the global product strategy, vision and strategic imperatives, as well as any associated global marketing tactics such as global congress management

  • Leads the Global Commercialization Team in collaboration with key partners around the world to develop the global product plan and process, incorporating insights from commercial, medical affairs and the approved clinical development plan

  • Leads the Global Product Team (e.g. iPACT team) that guides matrix execution, performance monitoring, and life cycle planning

  • Leads all Global Commercial initiatives pertaining to Corporate or Business Strategy and Business Development (inlicensing and outlicensing)

  • Initiate pre-launch global market planning activities for LCM of ARIAD portfolio, including market research, advisory boards, thought leader development, disease state educational activities, market access planning, HEOR, etc.

  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure tactical elements are properly executed in a timely manner and within budget

  • Manage all corresponding budgets

  • Position may require up to 30% travel internationally

    Qualifications:

  • Strong strategic and analytical skills

  • Oncology experience required

  • Launch experience preferred

  • Demonstrated leadership competency, creative problem solving, external partner collaborations and team partnership

  • Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written presentation skills

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required

  • A minimum of 10 years Pharmaceutical/Biotech Marketing, Market Research, or Sales experience is required
