SUMMARY

Freeman is seeking a Part-Time Production Showsite Lead to supervise all areas of exhibitor move-in/move-out including the review of production schedules and estimates, scheduling and supervision of labor. Additional duties include:

  • Interpreting specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigning duties.

  • Study production schedules, labor budgets and estimating worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments as well as establishing/adjusting work procedures to meet production schedules.

  • Performing and supervising the following areas: loading and unloading equipment, marking floor, setting up service area, meeting rooms, and offices, hanging drape and booth signs, setting up boneyard, etc.

  • Ensuring that all equipment is returned to warehouse and broken or damaged equipment is tagged for repairMaintains consistently acceptable job cost.

  • Planning daily production schedule. Assigns standby labor as necessary. Maintains time and production records.

  • Maintaining communication with the Account Executive, Operations Manager & Service Desk and advises of any problems that may affect their operational work flow.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum three (3) + years of tradeshow or related experience including past experience producing trade shows at the 1000-1500 booth level.

  • Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Ability to use and interpret mathematical concepts and geometry

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred

  • Associates Degree
