General Description

Summary / Overview:

This position is for an Engineer for the Innovation Fab Operations Team. This team is focused on improving the productivity of factory bottlenecks through our Value Creation Teams (VCTs).

Specific Job Duties:

  • Lead/participate in VCT activities to improve production performance for areas identified in the bottleneck council

  • Work with FAB Engineering to improve tool efficiency

  • Work with the MARS technicians to review key PRCs and identify tool to tool mismatches impacting productivity

  • Develop new methods/strategies for identifying and improving efficiency loss

  • Work with the capacity team to identify key areas to improve factory movement

Location: Austin, TX

Necessary Skills / Attributes

Education, Training, Certification(s):

  • BS degree in Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering or related field of study

  • MUST have 5+ years of related experience

  • Strong knowledge of SAS systems, especially Spotfire

  • Highly capable in MS Word, Excel and Power Point

  • MARS capability and strong understanding of wafer flow through production equipment

  • Must have strong communication path way to UP and exhibit teamwork

  • Analytical and problem solving skills

  • Focused on continuous improvement in fast-paced, changing environment

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • High level of initiative and desire to learn

  • Successful candidates will be detail and task oriented and place high value on customer service, team work and flexibility.

  • Ability to meet due dates for action items

  • Must be punctual
