As Delta determines its path forward from a cross-channel perspective, a new omnichannel organization is being created to align organizational priorities with a cohesive strategy that accelerates Delta's direct-to-consumer to efforts. The Project Leader - omnichannel Commercial Strategy will focus on broad efforts to drive stickiness to Delta through compelling value propositions across channels, and with a particular focus on direct channels. The successful candidate will be proficient with data analysis and manipulation, think strategically, and be able to engage effectively with cross-functional stakeholders. The role also requires strong executive presence and presentation skills.

Primary Functions:

In partnership with other internal stakeholders, review and evaluate key 3rd party relationships with potential to disrupt distribution landscape and identify Delta's strategy for success moving forward

Compile holistic perspective on the evolution of the distribution landscape over the next 3-5 years (e.g., NDC, OTA strategy, Metas) and how Delta should position itself

Evaluate industry players' actions in support of distribution and identify differentiating factors behind successful direct-to-consumer models both inside and outside the airline industry

Drive transformational, forward-thinking ideation in support of direct-to-consumer efforts and overarching omnichannel strategy

Complete ad hoc analysis in support of omnichannel Revenue and Service team efforts as needed

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in process management, business or related field is preferred; Masters level degree preferred.

Knowledge of Delta Air Lines and/or the airline industry, travel landscape and digital commerce/digital marketing.

Must be a creative and innovative problem solver.

Highly quantitative with executive presence and focus, requires regular interaction with senior leaders across the organization to drive strategy development and execution.

Entrepreneurial, creative and financial results-oriented.

Must possess strong written and oral communication skills.

Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.
