Delta Air Lines, Inc. Product Specialist in Atlanta, Georgia

Distribution is responsible for the development, analysis, implementation, and reporting of key strategic initiatives designed to maximize revenue and optimize costs associated with omnichannel Strategy, Online Travel Agencies, Global Distribution Systems and Payment Acceptance.

Primary functions include:

Identify opportunities to increase revenues, reduce costs, shift channel share and improve business processes

Global omnichannel share modeling, reporting, analytics, and forecasting

Regional and key market omnichannel share modeling, reporting, analytics and forecasting

Assist with the development of annual business, operating and channel share plans

Create and maintain weekly and monthly performance reporting and dashboards

Support contract negotiations with Online Travel Agencies and Global Distribution Systems along with performance monitoring

JV reporting and analytics

Ad hoc analytics and presentation preparation for various audiences (internal, executive and BOD).

Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

Bachelor's degree in business or quantitative discipline is required - MBA is preferred.

3 years equivalent work experience is required, 5 years preferred

General knowledge of Delta's markets and competitive market position, programs, processes, tools and infrastructure is highly desirable - travel industry sales/marketing experience is a plus

Should be solution-oriented, multi-task capable and have demonstrated the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment

Demonstrates initiative and self-directs work with an ability to manage multiple priorities under aggressive deadlines

Should possess strong analytical, computer, organizational, interpersonal and planning skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to make sound business decisions

Highly proficient PC skills including advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point are required. Hyperion/BRIO skills along with working knowledge of Revenue Pipeline, MIDT tables in enterprise warehouse, SAS and Tableau highly desirable

Experience with independently preparing analytical power point presentations for use by senior leadership preferred
