What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assist in fielding the incoming day-to-day business process and technical support requests including: identifying, prioritization, troubleshooting, and leveraging all available resources to resolve production related issues.

  • Communicate issues to development groups and management as required to resolve a broad range of troubleshooting skills related to: business processes, software functionality, application configuration, database management, and third party products.

  • Utilize monitoring tools and creative pro-active monitoring practices to ensure system availability, functionality, and performance.

  • Ensure all defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded.

  • Participate in the Change Management and Release Management process to ensure that software releases are clearly understood and properly transitioned to allow for adequate support.

  • Continuously create and update support documentation in the solutions knowledge database to improve and expand support capabilities.

  • Track all customer tickets, research questions, and issues.

  • Ensure escalated issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Document each ticket with details and clarity when updating or closing.

  • Identify and analyze technical problem trends, problem patterns, and potential solutions.

  • Keep management informed of trend analysis and any critical problems.

The Experience You Need (Required):

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related position responsible for providing business process support in a production environment; or in the alternative a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related position responsible for providing business process support in a production environment. Experience must include two (2) years of each within the healthcare industry: 1) T-SQL, SQL server, Microsoft Visual Studio and Informatica for developing complex ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) flows; 2) Systems and process integration of patient and provider data and applications; 3) Analyzing complex data and information to create client-level member eligibility and provider network reports; 4) Fixing provider-practice, -specialty and –network data issues using provider data subject matter expertise; and 5) Identifying and fixing eligibility, medical, and pharmacy claims data quality concerns.
