Encore Event Technologies is currently looking for an experienced and customer focused Payroll Coordinator who will be responsible for processing payroll timely and accurately as well as repsond to/resolve employee's questions and problems. This position will also:
Analyzes, prepares and inputs union and non-union payroll data into payroll processing system to produce accurate and timely payroll. Contact various department supervisors to resolve any discrepancies.
Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
Reconcile PTO each pay period close between HRIS and Time Capture system.
Assist Payroll Supervisor in the monthly Union Trust reconciliation reports
Solves problems concerning payroll, answers inquiries and enforces payroll policies.
Accurately keys all payroll related data necessary to meet assigned processing schedule.
Enter garnishments, tax levies, child support orders, etc. and report to required agency timely.
Assists in year-end assignments i.e. W-2 reviews and delivery, imputes to income, etc.
Payroll check distribution
Minimum three (3) years of payroll/customer service experience.
Minimum three (3) years of ADP experience.
Must have Union experience.
Must possess current knowledge of applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
Proven knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Web-Based applications.
Working knowledge of general office machines, such as fax and photocopy machine, PC, telephone and calculator.
