The Digital Optimization Strategist primarily assists in the implementation of new program chat solutions and optimizations on existing chat programs, being the author of both technical documentation and test cases to be used to build and validate the solutions prior to pushing them to production. Secondarily, this role assists in the analysis of client data, creating standard client reports and helping the digital optimization strategists with major client presentations. The DOS plays a key role in helping create efficiencies and process improvements for the department and the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the implementation of new program chat solutions and optimizations

  • Attending client technical review meetings to determine the optimal way of testing new/existing program chat solutions

  • Preparing standard Change Management Requests (i.e. technical documents to be used by internal Implementation teams to build chat solutions) and updating site immersion documents

  • Submitting test data requests to ensure prior test environments and test credentials are collected from the client in order to conduct complete end-to-end testing prior to releasing to production

  • Maintaining and updating internal library of test cases and test data to validate currently live chat solutions.

  • Writing test cases and validations steps to be used by internal QA and client’s User Acceptance Testing teams to validate built chat solutions prior to releasing to production

  • Partnering with internal Development and QA teams to create efficiencies and process improvements in the end-to-end testing process

  • Assisting in the analysis of client data, creating standard client reports and helping the digital optimization strategists with major client presentations

  • Gathering standard web analytics data and preparing weekly client reports

  • Analyzing client site analytics, documenting performance of key funnels, flows and pages

  • Producing data-driven templated slides for clients’ Business Review decks

Number of Years of Experience: 2-3

Required Skills:

  • Technical understanding of software development lifecycle, methodologies, and configuration management

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including the ability to communicate complex data and ideas through Microsoft PowerPoint presentations

  • Experience with Internet software and Database software

  • Experience with standard web analytics systems, Jira, and Confluence is a plus

  • Superb communication skills (both written and oral), including group presentation skills, as well as experience is managing several projects at once.

Preferred Skills:

  • This position requires the employee to apply knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and principles of finance to interpret data to determine actionable program improvements

  • Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Education: A 4-year college degree is required, preferably a degree in business or three years of relevant experience may be substituted for the 4-year college degree.
